Masungi Georeserve

Tired of going to the mall and just lying in bed all day? If you’re up for an adventure this summer, I suggest you have to try the majestic rock formations in Masungi Georeserve. Just 1-2 hours away from Manila. It is located in Baras, Rizal.

Reservations are needed prior to going to the place. Walk-ins are not allowed. Groups should be minimum of 7 and maximum of 13 participants. Of course it’s not for free! But there will be an environmental and for maintainance of the place for P1500 on weekdays and P1800 on weekends. Payment includes snacks and drinks, raincoat (just in case it rains), helmet and bag.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Slippers and sandals are not allowed as you can see, you’ll be climbing nets and will go through rocky paths.  You can leave your other belongings in a locker, provided a fee of P20.

The trail can be finished in 4hours depending on your pace. It is a little tiring but definitely its gonna be worth it. You’ll be able to enjoy the scenery as you go along the trails.

What to bring:

  • comfortable shoes and clothes
  • water
  • clothes if you want to change after the activity
  • Gloves (optional)

If you’re up for it, you can visit their website for reservation. 🙂
